This has to be the first product I talk about here on this site because quite simply, I have a cat that loves it. It’s simply called The Cat’s Meow Cat Toy, found on Amazon. I’m not kidding when I tell you he sits beside it and cries until you turn it on. Sadly, he’s not smart enough to figure out he just has to smack the button on the top center, even though we’ve tried to show him numerous times. Maybe your cat will figure it out?
I don’t think this is too difficult to figure out what it does. It sits on the floor and has a mouse or ball attached to the end of the red string. It spins around, stops, goes the other way, and basically entertains the cat while you watch TV. It’s a simple product but but if you have an over active cat that pesters you for attention non stop, this automated thing is a gem!
The downsides? It EATS batteries. Keep a stock of batteries on hand (takes three C batteries) because if your cat is like mine she will want it on full time, all the time, every day. Also, our cats ripped the mouse off the end of the string, which really isn’t that bad because the red string still sticks out for them to watch whip around. It’s a def high recommend from us here at quirky cat products! The Cat’s Meow Cat Toy gets a two paws up from us!
